Ms. Sonya "The Black Widow" Thomas
Manager, Burger King
Unknown to many of her customers, outside of her job as manager for the Burger King here, Ms. Sonya "The Black Widow" Thomas is a world-renowned competitive eater.
During The Nathan's Fourth of July Hot Dog Eating Contest, Thomas won the first Women's Championship by eating 40 hot dogs and buns in the timed competition. She was honored by Colonel Ken Rizer, 11th Wing/Joint Base Andrews commander, as this week's warrior of the week for her work-ethic and fast-fingered fortitude while diligently serving JBA members at Burger King throughout each day.
