CDC four-year-old curriculum produces proficient readers

The literacy program for four-year-olds at Child Development Center III has been garnering success.
Shirley Phillips, who has been with CDC III as a program assistant for almost four years, said she has been reading to her son, Brandon, since before he was born. She believes this has fueled his desire to learn and the fact that he is now an avid reader.
