Profile: Ch. (Capt.) Kenneth ‘‘Chappie” Moore is assigned to the 459th Air Refueling Wing as staff chaplain to the 459 ARW Security Forces Squadron, Civil Engineer Squadron, Aerospace Medical Squadron, Aerospace Staging Squadron, mission support flight, family support, orderly room, military personnel flight, recruiting, life support, services flight and CES readiness. In this position, he provides a constant ministry presence to his areas of responsibility through visitation and being embedded in the squadrons as they perform their duties. Chaplain Moore also provides counseling and is certified in clinical pastoral education with two residencies. Chaplain Moore provides religious services to Airmen and boosts morale through participation in wing events. Interaction with Airmen, leadership and family members of the 459 ARW are important taskings as well for the Chaplain.
