This Week at Andrews:
March 6 Parent’s Night Out(‘St. Patty’s)

The Youth Center is hosting Parent’s Night Out Saturday from 5 to 11 p.m. Children ages 6-weeks to 5-years-old are hosted at the Child Development Center 2 and children ages 6 to 12-years-old are hosted at the Youth Center. Reservations should be made in advance and all children must be registered through the Child Care Registration office. Children are encouraged to wear festive colors for the holiday. March 8 Menu Board⁄Food Show

The Freedom Hall Dining Facility will host a free food show and menu board review, Monday from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Vendors are encouraged to bring in their products for sampling and evaluation by visitors. This is an opportunity for Joint Team Andrews members to give feedback and become involved in choosing DFAC menu items. For more information, call 301-981-6661.

March 7 to 13 Teen Tech Week

The Library is encouraging teens to explore their creativity during Teen Tech Week Saturday to March 13 from 6 to 7 p.m. Teens can learn to create their own blog or Web page; play games on the new Wii, XBox360 and PlayStation 3; and get help with online homework, social networking, audio books and more. AF ROTC Coming to Joint Base Andrews

Major Thomas Sadiq from University of Maryland College Park Air Force ROTC detachment is scheduled to visit Joint Base Andrews March 12 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Major Thomas Sadiq will be at the Education and Training Office, Bldg. 1413, to offer an overview on the current AFROTC programs. March 12 Military Spouses Career Coach

The Airman & Family Readiness Center is hosting Dr. Krista Wells, military spouse career coach, March 12 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the A&FRC. Dr. Wells is scheduled to coach spouses to help them explore their interests, personality and skills; discover hidden passions and pursue how to pursue them; as well as create action plans that focus on valued priorities. Shamrock Fest

Outdoor Recreation will be hosting a Shamrock Fest on March 13 from 1 to 9 p.m. at RFK Stadium. The cost is $15 per person. This will be an all day St. Patrick’s Day festival full of rock, Irish, blues, retro and folk music. Transportation will be included. The sign-up deadline is Monday. Cosmic Bowling

The Bowling Center will host a cosmic bowling night March 13 from 9 p.m. to midnight. The cost is $12 per person and includes shoes and unlimited bowling. Enjoy hours of great music, good food and dazzling lights with family and friends. For more information, call 301-981-3335.

March 27 Indoor rock climbing

Outdoor Recreation is scheduled to host an indoor rock climbing class in Columbia, Md. March 27 from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The rock climbing class is for beginners ages 14 and older, transportation is included and the cost is $44 per person. The sign-up deadline is Thursday. April 13 ACT, SAT, and PRAXIS Testing

The ACT, SAT and PRAXIS exams are being administered at the Education and Training Office, Bldg. 1413, on the follow dates:

ACT – April 13 at 8 a.m.
SAT – April 27 at 8 a.m.
PRAXIS – July 27 at8 a.m.

April 15 SARC Training Requirement Deadline for 316 WG Members

Sexual Assault Prevention and Response training is required for all 316th Wing personnel by April 15. Training can be completed in Bldg. 1535, room B-101, Tuesday at 8 and 10 a.m.; Wednesday at 8 a.m.; and Thursday at 8 and 10 a.m. For more information, call 301-981-7272.

AOSC Scholarships Available

The Andrews Officer’s Spouse’s Club is scheduled to award up to $20,000 in scholarships this year to dependents of Joint Base Andrews servicemembers and civilians, as well as dependents of retired or deceased military members residing within a 50-mile radius of Joint Base Andrews. Applications are available at www.andrewsosconline.com, and all attachments are due no later than April 9. Auto Hobby Shop

Andrews members can ‘‘do-it-themselves” at the Auto Hobby Shop, Bldg. 1236, on Virginia Ave. From tire services, oil changes, battery changes to diagnostics, Andrews members can save time and money. For more information, call 301-981-3917.

Physical Therapy
‘‘Sick Call” Clinic

A physical therapy sick call clinic is available for Active Duty members at the Family Practice Clinic, 1075 Perimeter Rd., Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 1 to 4 p.m. The clinic addresses back, neck, ankle, knee and shoulder pain with symptoms persisting three months or less. Aerobics Classes

The Andrews fitness centers offers free aerobics classes taught by certified instructors six days a week. Participation is on a first-come first-serve basis. Steps and mats are provided. The West Fitness Center also offers Tae Kwon Do Wednesday and Friday 5 to6 p.m. for $40 a month. Kempo-Karate is held Thursday at 6:30 p.m. for $25 a month. For more information, call 301-981-7201.
