Duty: Rainy Zednikís, right, duties at the Fisher House include providing assistance to the staff and residents. She also provides administrative assistance, guest reservations, support and services, activities planning, housekeeping, assisting with house renovations, minor maintenance and shopping for supplies for incoming wounded troops at the Maryland Room. ìIt is my pleasure to give service to those who give us so much more. A ëFisher Friendí is there to listen and lift spirits. To volunteer is to be a part of something special and so much greater than my everyday working life. I have experienced so much joy, happiness and personal fulfillment being a volunteer. I feel blessed and grateful each day that I can make a difference in someoneís life.î
