The support team at the 316th Contracting Squadron executes contracts to meet Team Andrews members’ needs. In order to ensure obligation of expiring funds by the end of the fiscal year, 316 CONS would like to share deadlines for receipt of funding documents for planned purchases using FY09 funds:
July 31 – All acquisitions under $25,000 (Non-GPC⁄GSA).
Aug. 1 – All service orders against GSA schedules placed by 316 CONS with approved Performance-Work Statement.
Aug. 13 – All acquisitions under $25,000 on GSA (Using GPC).
Aug. 31 – All commodity orders against GSA schedules placed by 316 CONS.
Aug. 31 – All orders against requirement-type contracts, regardless of the dollar value.
In addition, for the 316th Wing, it is critical that complete requirement packages are prepared for unfunded requirements before they go on the Wing Commander’s Living Unfunded List, or LUL. The ability to compete for end of year contract funding is dependent on 316 CONS ability to execute the contract action. 316 CONS give thanks in advance for teaming with them to make life better for all of Team Andrews.
