Navy Labor Day Concert
The United States Navy Band and ‘‘Sea Chanters” chorus present their traditional Labor Day Concert at the U.S. Navy Memorial Monday at 1 p.m. under the direction of Cmdr. Ralph M. Ingraham. The Navy Memorial is located at 701 Pennsylvania Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C. The Memorial is easily accessible via Metro Green and Yellow lines. Shuttle Service
The 316th Logistics Readiness Squadron shuttle service started Monday. The shuttle runs from 6:25 a.m. to 6:25 p.m. each day. The shuttle stops at the main gate, Bldg 1535, the hospital, Gateway Inn, PAX Terminal and the Commissary. The full shuttle schedule is available at www.andrews.af.mil. New York City Trip
Set off for the bright lights of ‘‘The Big Apple” - New York City in a motorcoach from Andrews AFB on Oct. 20 at 7 a.m. and depart NYC at 6 p.m. and return to Andrews around 11 p.m. NYC drop off will be in the Times Square area. The day is yours to explore Manhattan on your own. Deadline to signup is two weeks prior to the trip date. There is a minimum of 47 participants for this trip to take place. If the minimum number is not met by the deadline date, sign-ups will continue to be taken until the bus is full. Price is $45 per person.
Volunteers Needed
The Retiree Activity Office needs volunteers to help staff its office here at Andrews. The office is open Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The office supports more than 17,000 retirees in the local area. Ocean City Sunfest

National Guard Bureau OWC
Officers spouses assigned to the National Guard Bureau are eligible to join the National Guard Bureau Officers’ Wives’ Club.
