‘‘We are very excited about our new program and the ability to provide additional career certification for military and civilian personnel and their families,” said Valerie Halseth, 316th Force Support Squadron force development flight chief.

The Andrews NTC, sponsored by University of Maryland University College, now has access to hundreds of exams for medical and IT certifications as well as the Graduate Management Admissions Test for college admission, said Ms. Halseth.

In addition to the Pearson VUE exams, the National Test Center continues to provide computerized College-Level Examination Program, or CLEP, and dSST exams for college credit. The CLEP and dSST exams are free of charge for Active Duty, guard and reserve components. The complete listing of these exams is available on the Andrews Virtual Education Center via the AF Portal, said Ms. Halseth.

Pearson VUE testing is available by appointment only Monday through Thursday at 9:30 a.m. in Bldg. 1413, Room 100J. CLEP and dSST exams are provided Monday through Thursday at 9 a.m., 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. No appointment is necessary for the CLEP and dSST exams (with the exception of ‘‘Public Speaking”).
