Veteran’s Day Closings
All services facilities are scheduled to be closed Veteran’s Day except the following: Golf Course – open dawn to dusk; Lodging – open 24 hours a day; West Fitness Center – 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Sports Page – 4 to 11 p.m.

316 WG Clothing Drive
The 316th Wing is hosting a clothing drive to raise money for Honor Flights for veterans in honor of Veteran’s Day. You can donate clothes at the base theater today from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Monday and Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 2 pm.

Nighttime Road Closures
D Street is scheduled to close during the evenings of Nov. 16 and 17, and Alabama Avenue on Nov. 18 and 19 from 7 p.m. to 4 a.m. in order to lay communications lines. Plates will be in place after 4 a.m. to allow traffic flow.

MGMC opens new temporary entrance for H1N1 sufferers
In response to H1N1, the front lobby of Malcolm Grow Medical Center has been designated for use as an extended waiting area for the emergency department. The elevators in the main lobby and the main entrance are closed. The pharmacy area is the new temporary main entrance to the hospital.
